How to Handle Interview Pop Questions

Interviews can be nerve-recking and scary. There are many questions that will make you have to think before you speak.
Here are some questions I have answered.

What did you find to be the most difficult aspect of student teaching? I found that you can get lost easily. So when you make a lesson you aren't as well prepared. The kids react differently when the teacher tells them to treat you with the upmost respect while you're teaching. This makes things confusing for me at times because the kid don't react the way I would think.

What ways do you evaluate your students? I look at things that show me they comprehend and not just memorize. A lot of times I want to know if they know the right answers as well as the wrong one.
How would you prepare your classroom before your first day of teaching? I want the kids to look at the classroom as fun. So I want many colors and most of all I want it to look open and big. I would hate for my students to feel trapped and confined. I want them to love learning so I would decorate it very lovingly with things like stuffed animals.

What will you do to modify your teaching for a gifted student? I would almost let them lead the other students in a way. I wouldn't give them special treatment but I will check up on them more frequently and see how could I expand their potential as a student with their gift.

What can you contribute to our school and community? I love working as a team. It's hard for me to start a conflict. I will always work around and find middle ground. Understanding and sympathy is my greatest asset to my personality.
